Vertiport Simulations signals intent to partner with Advanced Air Mobility operators as it test-drives vertiport designs in the UAE

Orlando-based Vertiport Simulations is looking to partner with advanced air mobility aircraft manufacturers which have an interest in placing their aircraft designs in Microsoft flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 .

In a press release which was distributed earlier this week, the company describes itself as ‘a Microsoft Flight simulation-based, vertiport design firm’.

As Volocopter’s Volocity and the Jetson One are the only eVTOL aircraft currently available on Microsoft Flight Simulator, Vertiport Simulations is looking to increase the number of aircraft available to players within the game.

The press release added: “Our ultra realistic vertiport designs and video presentations offer clients several benefits as opposed to traditional architectural drawings.

“Namely, we can design and turn around changes faster, provide designs more affordably and place our client in a VR environment, which allows them thru the use of a Microsoft Xbox controller, the ability to fly into and around their conceptual vertiport, well before real-world groundbreaking occurs, anywhere on earth.

“Virtual Reality headsets are an incredible tool and foster the ultimate client presentation when it comes to vertiport zoning and compliance resolution as well the promotion of vertiport investment opportunities.”
