MEBAA 2024 to highlight advanced air mobility and industry innovation

The stage is set for the 10th edition of the MEBAA Show, the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association’s flagship event, which will take place from 10-12 December 2024 at Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport.

During a virtual press conference held last week, Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, Founding and Executive Chairman of MEBAA shared exciting updates on the show’s new features and record-breaking attendance.

“With just a few weeks to go, this year’s MEBAA Show marks a key opportunity to reflect on the remarkable evolution of the industry since the show’s inception almost two decades ago,” said Alnaqbi.

He added, “It will also set the stage for the future, acting as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas that drive the industry forward.”

Furthermore, Alnaqbi emphasised the continued growth of the business aviation sector, driven by rising demand for flexible travel solutions and advancements in technology.

“In our region, the influx of high-net-worth individuals, its strategic location, investments in infrastructure, and rising number of business jet movements and deliveries is helping the Middle East maintain its position as one of the fastest-growing markets globally,” he said.

“Through the MEBAA Show, we are proud to provide a platform that supports this growth, offering strategic insights, fostering meaningful connections, and showcasing the latest aircraft, products, and solutions.”

Key themes for 2024

This year’s event will introduce the Advanced Air Mobility Pavilion, a Startup Hub, and the Luxury Boulevard, sponsored by Falcon, further enhancing its position as a leading global platform for business aviation.

Moreover, the static display will remain a key highlight of the event, showcasing state-of-the-art aircraft from leading manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing Business Jets, Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, and Embraer. Other notable features will include the NextGen programme, designed to inspire future talent by welcoming over 500 students, and MEBAA Connect, an AI-powered networking app aimed at enhancing connectivity and engagement throughout the show.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the MEBAA Show 2024 will focus on key themes such as sustainability, future trends, and advanced technologies shaping the business aviation industry.

More than 10,000 visitors from 95 countries are expected to attend, cementing the event’s role as a global hub for innovation and excellence in business aviation.
