GACA highlights AAM & aviation investment opportunities at WEF

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia is hosting a high-profile investment showcase at the Saudi House during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, taking place at Davos-Klosters from 20th to 24th January 2025.

It will feature two high-level panel discussions focused on the Kingdom’s rapidly growing aviation sector, highlighting projects and incentives that aim to unlock over $100 billion in investments.

Furthermore, the showcase will emphasise opportunities across advanced air mobility (AAM), airports, airlines, ground services, cargo, and logistics.

In addition, the panels at Saudi House will feature notable figures such as Dr Abdullah Aldubaikhi, Assistant Minister of Investment for Saudi Arabia, along with leaders from Archer Aviation, Jeddah Airport, the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Saudi Arabia, and GACA.

The experts will discuss Saudi Arabia’s expansive vision for its aviation industry and the pivotal role of investment in driving growth.

GACA’s Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Intelligence, Mohammed Alkhuraisi, commented on the significance of Saudi Arabia’s aviation initiatives, “Saudi Arabia is presenting aviation investment opportunities that are unmatched globally, as the Saudi Aviation Strategy triples passenger numbers, connects to more than 250 destinations, and handles 330 million passengers and 4.5 million tons of cargo.”

The investment discussions will also provide updates on key projects, including the King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, which will feature six runways, and public-private partnerships for airports in Abha, Taif, Hail, and Qassim.

Saudi House, led by the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), serves as a platform to present Saudi Arabia’s transformative economic vision at Davos.

Through contributions from various government entities, Saudi House fosters strategic dialogue among entrepreneurs, innovators, and decision-makers, facilitating collaboration on key sectors that are shaping the future.
