FlyNow Arabia To Showcase eCopter At Saudi Drone Exhibition 2025

FlyNow Arabia is set to present its fully electric eCopter at the Saudi Drone Exhibition 2025 in Riyadh, which will run from September 1–3 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, where the company will be present at Booth B06.

The showcase follows a series of successful untethered flight tests with the modular eVTOL, designed for passenger and cargo transport, as well as firefighting and medical evacuation missions.

The company established FlyNow Arabia in Riyadh in 2024 as part of its strategy to serve the Middle Eastern market. A production facility is planned in the Kingdom, with future Saudi-assembled eCopters intended for both domestic and international markets.

Later this year, the company will conduct sandbox flights in Saudi Arabia alongside local and international partners. These pilot projects are intended to demonstrate the safe integration of eVTOL aircraft into low-altitude airspace, supporting the Kingdom’s push for sustainable, high-tech mobility solutions.

Full-Scale Prototype On Display

Visitors to the exhibition will see a full-scale (1:1) prototype of the FlyNow eCopter, which is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber materials that will also be used in the production aircraft.

The mock-up shows the company’s focus on modularity, safety, and cost efficiency. Developed for short-range urban missions, the eCopter includes a compact cabin that can be configured for cargo or passenger use.

Attendees will be able to step inside the prototype and experience the one-passenger interior layout. FlyNow will also present an interactive virtual reality simulation developed in collaboration with FalconViz, a Saudi-based specialist in UAV-powered asset digitization and 3D mapping.

The VR headset experience will allow visitors to explore the aircraft’s cabin and flight behavior, offering a realistic impression of the passenger experience.
